Class is in session! The area of Student Achievement supports underrepresented students at Auburn University. Student Achievement’s reach can be seen broadly through Culture, Leadership, Academic, Social and Success, or CLASS, at Auburn University.
Cultural awareness and cultural intelligence is impacted through the T1GER Network, Multi-Cultural Communities and Cultural Excursions.
Leadership development experiences can be found in Tiger Excellence Scholar Program through signature programs such as Celebrity Leadership Nights, student employment and more.
Academic success is impacted through the Tiger Excellence Scholar Program or TESP, First Year Experience: Intro to the Jungle and outreach initiatives such as Tiger Takeoff.
Students’ sense of belongingness is impacted through social events such as T1GER Network, First-gen Fridays and Community in TESP.

Cultural Excursions are unique opportunities for a select number of scholars to experience a domestic location during fall break where they will explore cultural sites, eat at local restaurants, explore humanity and arts and tour various locations connecting to specific cultural experiences in order to learn more about the city’s rich culture.
T1GER Network is Auburn University’s first-generation college student support network. In this group, students can meet other first-gen college students, peers and Auburn professional staff alike and grow their community and pride in being a first-gen college student.
