METRICS & ASSESSMENT
Within the Office of Inclusion and Diversity, assessment and data supports Auburn’s strategic diversity plan to “regularly monitor and assess Auburn University’s diversity efforts for effectiveness, identify new and better ‘best practices’ for success, and publish reports for dissemination.”
This goal is accomplished through carrying out the following tasks:
- Developing systems, benchmarks, and evaluation tools to assess progress and aid
in our efforts to become a more diverse and inclusive educational environment
- Providing institutional data and assessment findings that are diversity-centric
- Analyzing data disaggregated by race, ethnicity, and gender, and monitoring intergroup disparities to better understand the experiences of historically underrepresented populations
